We have been using the Great Canadian Maintenance food for our 9 year old Lab for 5 years. Recently, we got a 3 month old Shorkie and both dogs now dine on the Premium 26-15 food. Note that it is now noticable our Lab retains more from the Premium food than the Maintenance as proven by the volume of dog waste. My in-laws also switched their purebred Corgies to the GCDF as well. All of the dogs have great coats and plenty of energy. GCDF is an excellent choice!

I hope all is well! I thought I would just send you an update…
My dogs are loving the food! I took your advice and they are on the Great Canadian Premium 26-15. Their coats are great, they have lots of energy and they love the food… I found it easy to change over and integrate in with all the treats they receive while training.. Now that the dock diving season is over I'm looking to let Cain pack on a few off-season pounds and it is easy as he would eat a whole bag of the food if I gave him the chance!
I had a picture to send but my computer won't allow me to attach it for some reason…
Anyways thanks for producing a fantastic food… One I will continue to use the rest of the time I have dogs to feed.

I wanted to thank you for such a great product! We had 4 dogs, recently we have been reduced to three. They are all rescues and large breed dogs. I also foster whenever possible. What I appreciate with your food is how easy it is to feed to my dogs, from the beginning of the bag until the end. They never walk away from a bowl of food! I constantly receive compliments on their coats, teeth and general health. Our 12 year old was able to have an extra year with us instead of the 2 months that we were told to expect. I believe that had alot to do with changing to this food, as she has always been a fussy eater and needing extras in her bowl to coax her to eat. That was not true with your food, it was the only dry dog food she would ever eat plain. Thank you for making such a great quality product with a great price! Both are very important to me.

We have two Golden Retrievers. We noticed your food at the local Co-op store near our home where we go to get the dogs groomed. It is very reasonably priced so we decided to try it. Well, the dogs love it and had no problem switching from their previous food to the Great Canadian Canine Maintenance Dog Food which was a pleasant surprise, as our one Retriever has a very "delicate constitution" . They have been enjoying it ever since. We are so glad we discovered your product!!
Thanks!!

We have 2 Labradoodles which are 7 months old. They have been our pride and joy since the day we obtained them from the breeder. The breeder had them on 26-15 so we decided to keep them on it. Izzy (Isabell) and Spud have grown to be happy and healthy family members and are almost ready to proceed up to the next level of the food chart. When the food bag is opened, everything they are doing is dropped and they are prancing to be fed. They enjoy your great food. When we obtained them, it was hard to find a supplier in our area who supplied the 26-15 but with your help you were able to direct us to our present supplier. We thank you for this because they have grown to very healthy dogs with great coats of hair and great dispositions. Thank you once again.

For the past 15 years, the Coolrunning Sled Dog Team has competed all over North America, including in 2005 racing in the oldest sprint race in Alaska and running on the Yukon river in the world championships. In our many years, we have fed several different brands of dog food. We have tried special mix kibble and high price kibble but when we were turned on to the 26/15 premium kibble by Great Canadian we knew that food was no longer going to be an issue. This was the best. Our dogs are greysters. They are half pointer and half greyhound. Short coats, high energy. The 26/15 gives the fuel our dogs need to perform. They keep their weight healthy and constant. Their coats are shiny and stools always consistent. The last great thing is it is very affordable and the company cares about you and your pets.
For us there is no better food than the Great Canadian 26/15

I have 3 Chihuahua's, and over a year ago, one was diagnosed with grain allergy. I have tried numerous foods and her hair kept falling out and her temperment was nasty...I finally came across your Lamb and Rice formula and have to say, I am extremely happy. Scrappy has stopped losing massive amounts of hair and I have noticed a big change in her temperment; she is very happy and playful now and has a beautiful shiny coat of fur. All 3 dogs enjoy your quality food.
Thank you for a wonderful product!

We have been trying many different brands for our Yorkshire Terrier Mix, and he refused many different brands of food ranging from the generic grocery store brand to the expensive holistic foods with no results. We were feeding him an assortment of different meats and other "human food" because that was all he would eat. We saw this brand at the TSC store in our area, and decided to try it to see if he would bite (literally). To our surprise, he actually enjoyed the food, and we weren't pressured to give him half our dinner. The Great Canadian Dog Food is good quality at an even better price.

We were searching for a reasonably priced dog food that would also exceed the dietary concerns of our Chocolate Lab "Chip". He was an "orphaned" pup, requiring plenty of TLC and proper nourishment. Living in a small rural community made it difficult to have easy and ready access to the type of food we were looking for. Family members from Moorefield suggested we try "The Great Canadian Dog Food" and supplied us with our initial bags of food. That was about 8 years ago and there's been no turning back. Unfortunately our "Chip" passed on, however, our 2 year old Lab "Cosby" has been raised on Spectrum's formula.
Many people have complimented our pet's physique and shiny coat which we attribute to his food.
Once we had tried it for several months , we were totally satisfied and convinced we had to have a local supplier. There was no difficulty persuading our local Huron Bay Co-op to stock this new brand of dog food. In fact, once we had suggested to others to try "The Great Canadian Dog Food", it was sometimes found the Co-op couldn't keep enough of it in stock.
Now that our Cosby is going to be a dad, we plan on educating the new puppy owners the advantages of going to "The Great Canadian Dog Food" regime.

Our dog spends the day in the barn and getting her out there has always been a chore. A year ago we started feeding her 21/7. Now at the sound of the bag she is at the door waiting to go to the barn. She absolutely loves the food!”.

The Jess family has been breeding dogs and boarding dogs and cats since 1952 with great success and as recently as May 2004, my wife, Margaret and I moved to St. Williams Ontario and built 2 new kennels. One kennel is for raising and breeding our favorite breed of dog, "beagles" and a second separate kennel for the sole purpose of boarding dogs and cats.
We field trial our beagles and hunt with them, so we are constantly training year around and require a quality dog food that will keep our beagles in top running condition. We started out feeding our beagles the Shur-Gain brand and found it to be a good food, but a little expensive and not all the boarding dogs liked it, so it became apparent we would need to find another brand of food. We wanted a quality dog food to offer our breeding dogs as well as our boarding dogs, one brand that they would all like and eat.. sometimes not an easy thing to do and that was when this summer 2004, we switched over to The Great Canadian Dog Food and were delighted with the results.
We did a complete switch of the food and had no problems with upset tummies and ALL the dogs love it, even the boarding dogs, which was a major concern for us. The price is also a huge factor because it is reasonably priced and a great savings for us.
Our beagles have been on The Great Canadian Dog Food now for many months and are doing terrific, they have shiny coats, bright eyes and lots of energy to compete in field trials and train all day. Our pregnant mothers have beautiful puppies and even the puppies are easy to wean off the mothers with it. We have also done well in field trials this year and I certainly have to contribute part of it to the Great Canadian Dog Food.
We highly recommend The Great Canadian Dog Food to anyone with any type of dog. In our boarding kennel we have fed many breeds from Yorkshire Terriers all the way up to Great Danes with excellent results.
Our thank you goes out to The Great Canadian Dog Food Company for making such an excellent, affordable dog food.

A pleasure to share with others how pleased our family is with the great care and quality found in each bag of the Great Canadian Dog Food.
We have two 5 year old bouviers here at home, Molly & Dixie, that thoroughly enjoy your food and usually don't come up till the bowl is empty. Until we switched to the Great Canadian Dog Food, they seemed quite finicky on all other brands. We were beginning to think that maybe there is "cat-flavouring" or some other secret ingredient just as mysterious in there to keep them coming back for more. The girls LOVE IT! Great coats, lots of energy and very reasonably priced. We don't hesitate for a minute when it comes to recommending your pet food to any of our dog-owning friends and families.
Keep up the good work!

We have two female Boxers, ages 2 and 2 ½ and they are very active girls. Four months ago we changed their dog food from Iams Lamb and Rice to “The Great Canadian Dog Food” Lamb and Rice Formula.
The cost is very comparable to other higher end dog foods.
Our girls absolutely LOVE this dog food and they have such beautiful soft healthy coats. It was a very good change for them; we would recommend it to anyone who takes pride in their pets.

I would like to introduce myself; my name is Terri Dolbear, owner of Small Time Kennels in Wyoming, Ontario. I’m a reputable breeder, trainer and handler of American Black and Tan Coonhounds and Beagles with 40 years or experience. I wanted to share my personal success story about your dog food.
I switched my dogs over to your Great Canadian Dog Food about two years ago. My dogs love the taste and it is very digestible and filling. I have noticed my animals have shinier coats and cleaner teeth. I love the energy and drive they have! I can hunt them for a full day or night and they are still full of ambition when they are called in. I keep my breed bitches on it for the full pregnancy and maintain them on it after the pups are born.
Since I’ve started buying your product, I’ve had great showing success. My top female, Champion PR. Small Time 4bid’n VA Reflection, better known as “Ginny” has won an unprecedented Best of Show Female two years in a row at the United Kennel Club (U.K.C.) Autumn Oaks event. This is the largest Coonhound Show for U.K.C. “The World” show at the American Black and Tan Days. In turn, she then won Champion Female in Flora Illinois. In September, Ginny also won Champion Black and Tan Female and Black and Tan Pairs with a male out of Virginia at Autumn Oaks.
As well, my male Black and Tan Coonhound pu, PR.Small Time Vanquiero’s OK Colt 45, or “Ruger” for short, was this year’s winner of both Class and Breed at Autumn Oaks in Richmond, Indiana. Ruger was successful at the Black and Tan Sectional in Chesney, Michigan where he won Best of Show. I am currently holding him back for the larger events since he only lacks a few points to become a champion.
I have had award-winning dogs in both Show and Hunt categories but only since I switched to your product have I had so many inquiries about what I feed them. When Great Canadian Dog Food first came out, I received a complimentary bag, and I also won three bags of your feed at Owen’s Sound Canadian Autumn Open. At the time I was using a competitive product and was satisfied with the results. However, when they altered the formula, I wasn’t as pleased with my dogs’ performance. At this time I started purchasing Great Canadian Dog Food at Petrolia’s “Cash n Carry Feed Bin” and since I’ve dedicated myself to your product, I have been very happy with the performance of both breeds in my kennel.
I am enclosing pictures of Ginny and Ruger so you may consider sponsoring them. I would be thrilled to represent Great Canadian Dog Food and am willing to provide reference to verify my kennel’s reputation.
Sincerely,
Terri Dolbear,
