here for full story A pleasure to share with others how pleased our family is with the great care and quality found in each bag of the Great Canadian Dog Food. We have two 5 year old bouviers here at home, Molly & Dixie, that thoroughly enjoy your food and usually don't come up till the bowl is empty. Until we switched to the Great Canadian Dog Food, they seemed quite finicky on all other brands. We were beginning to think that maybe there is "cat-flavouring" or some other secret ingredient just as mysterious in there to keep them coming back for more. The girls LOVE IT! Great coats, lots of energy and very reasonably priced. We don't hesitate for a minute when it comes to recommending your pet food to any of our dog-owning friends and families. & Scott Houston, My husband and I live in Stratford, and have a Bernese Mountain dog and a Sheltie. We thought we were buying quality dog food, as we were purchasing leading brands for both dogs. Over the last 2 to 3 years we have racked up huge vet bills, as both dogs suffered constantly from hot spots, both during the winter and the summer. They were also molting constantly. We would give them vet prescribed medication and they would gradually recover, but the problems would start again in about 2 to 3 weeks. It was very frustrating because the pets were suffering and our vets said that many things could cause these issues. We decided to change the food. We live close to the Great Canadian Dog Food outlet, in Stratford, and decided to check it out. We bought the Lamb & Rice variety, for both dogs. Since then, there have been no hot spots, the molting has stopped, and the dogs are doing great! If you haven’t tried the Great Canadian Dog Food, I think you might be missing out. No more vet bills for us, and the dogs really enjoy their food. I also think it is nice to support a Canadian company. Try it. We sure aren’t going back. Four months ago we changed their dog food from Iams Lamb and Rice to “The Great Canadian Dog Food” Lamb and Rice Formula. The cost is very comparable to other higher end dog foods. Our girls absolutely LOVE this dog food and they have such beautiful soft healthy coats. It was a very good change for them; we would recommend it to anyone who takes pride in their pets. I have had a kennel of Beagles for 46 years, always a Hunter and Field Trialed in the off season. Your feed is always fresh, very palatable, as any new hound I have in the kennel eats it right up on first feeding. I always use a feed without soyabean meal, because it is only filler for a dog. I started to feed your food this year, and have placed my Hounds steady in Field Trials all year, receiving three firsts, 1 third, 2 fourths out of 6 trials with 3 females I campaigned this year. All of my hounds have lots of energy, and stamina and hunt all day if I want them too. The delivery service is excellent and is properly priced. I have tried all the major brands and your feed I find is the BEST FEED for the value! Lee
Currah, Several Months ago we began looking for a product that would take our small growing kennel to new heights. The product we were giving our dogs was economical but not quite cutting it with the quality, which meant large amounts of supplementation. When we decided to make a move towards racing we knew we needed to find a product that was not only affordable but above and beyond others in it's class. We came upon The Great Canadian Dog Food and haven't looked back. We feel it has the best bang for the buck as the dogs coats have never looked better, energy levels are up, and with less coming out cleanup times around the kennels has been diminished. was discovered. We also have 14 cats that are on your cat food as well. All of our animals have been rescues. We do not belong to any non profit or other organized animal places. We just spend our own money neutering or spaying and feeding and loving any animal that needs our help. We than adopt the ones that are adoptable and care for the ones that are not. We always suggest feeding the animals we adopt – Your animal food products. We love them all and we are very happy they were on your food when it was discovered. She actually dug out the Iams to get to the Great Canadian Dog Food. We have a True Value store; I like to promote Canadian items in our store. For the quality of food the pricing is awesome. Give your dog a taste, she will like it too. Thank-you! Thought I would give you an update on the bag of food you gave me at Western Ag. Decided that I would try it on my old Rottie, as she was off her feed, has lost weight and her coat is not that great right now. I should also mention that she is 12-1/2 yrs. old and none of these things are surprising. I am pleased (and I'm sure you will be) to report that when I switched her over she has not missed a meal. At this point it is about quality of life for her and I don't really care what she eats. It is important to me that she IS eating. As we discussed, I don't expect to see immediate results but I am pleased that her interest in this food is what it is. I will let you know again in a few weeks how she is doing. |
